About Evergreen Centre

We inspire a culture for responsible resource development through learning and innovation by providing a trustworthy environment for resource partners to exchange new ideas, communicate expectations, learn from others, and inspire innovative resource solutions.

In May 2009, Evergreen Park made land available for Evergreen Centre partners to demonstrate industry best practices. Our volunteer managed grassroots initiative grew rapidly and in July 2015 the Evergreen Learning and Innovation Society was formed to help manage the future progress of the Centre.

Today the Evergreen Centre hosts demonstrations from industry participants in sectors including oil & gas, forestry, agriculture, and clean tech. Using 22 acres of forested terrain within Evergreen Park (County of Grande Prairie) just outside the City of Grande Prairie the Evergreen Centre empowers stakeholders toward responsible resource development. The Evergreen Centre is a hub in a network of organizations that collectively build trust among parties, verify best practices, share traditional knowledge, and host educational programs to train, educate, and mentor participants.
