Beahr Training Program

April 5, 2018

On the left is Linda Belcourt with the Western Cree Tribal Council and Carly Beaver with Eco Canada. This was a preliminary site visit in preparation for the upcoming 15 week Beahr Training being offered to Indigenous participants starting April 16th.

To increase awareness about environmental careers and build environmental capacity within Indigenous
communities, ECO Canada’s training division maintains and administers community-based environmental
training programs designed to provide introductory skills to those who want to work or pursue further education
in the environmental field. Programs are delivered by ECO Canada or third-party trainers approved and licensed
through the BEAHR Training Programs.
